The Texas Longhorns cheerleaders having a meeting before the football against Texas Tech
This was a pregame pep talk the Texas cheerleaders do before each game. Today they trash talked Texas Tech and their "Panhandle" cheerleaders (Texas Tech's home is in the Panhandle section of the state of Texas). They called them fake Texans....since Lubbock is not too far from the New Mexico border.
A sea of burnt orange at Darrell K Royal Stadium..with a small section of red for the Texas Tech faithful
There were a few Texas Tech fans mixed in with the huge sea of burnt orange of the Texas Longhorns fans, but most were confined to the away team's section on their side of the field and near the end zone. Most of the fans from Tech came from the Lubbock area, which was 10 hours away from here in Austin.
